• The Spouts live shows are distinguishable by ​an energetic, light, and carefree attitude about the presentation of their music. Readily sacrificing quality musicianship for thrashing about like buffoons.

• The debut EP, This Part of Town released March 15, 2019 with a release show at Tree Bar that very evening. 

• The EP's 3rd track, Watch Your Vegetables, was released as a promotional single in January 25, 2019.

BIO

​

The earliest iteration of The Spouts began in 2015 with an unnamed bedroom project involving Neil Milligan and Brandon Messner while they were pursuing Art Degrees at The Ohio State University. Much of this time was spent working towards competency at their respective instruments and simply playing for fun. Mitch Miller joined in the Fall of 2016 making his initial contributions as the group's bass guitar player. After peddling their act at a few house shows, the boys made their public debut as The Spouts opening for Eureka California (Athens, GA) at The Tree Bar in Columbus April 20, 2018. 

 

Following immediately after, Justin Helmecamp joined the group as the bass player and freed up Mitch to take on his better suited role of Lead Guitarist. The new group spent the better part of 2018 gelling their sounds and gaining comfortability onstage as they played bar shows around Ohio, most notably the Grand Opening of Stella's Music Club in Cleveland.

 

As The Spouts garnered success as a live act, it became apparent that they needed to produce a high quality recording of their original songs. On October 21, 2018, the boys recorded live takes of their best material at Joemon Studios in Bellfountaine, Ohio. Mitch Miller took the reigns as producer for the six song EP, This Part of Town. The Spouts released a promotional single from the EP called Watch Your Vegetables on January 25, 2019. This Part of Town will drop on all online music distribution outlets March 15, 2019 and the Spouts will spend Spring 2019 promoting the EP with an Ohio Tour.
